SGS welcomes Discover Architecture students for second year

SGS was fortunate to host two talented NYC high school students at our office last week through the Center for Architecture's Discover Architecture program! This was our office's second year participating. Zuzanna and Daniel impressed us with their modelmaking skills, creating a site model and massing studies for a new house on a narrow urban lot. They researched design precedents, including a construction site visit to our 13th Street project, and presented their findings. We’re inspired by their enthusiasm for and deep interest in architecture and the design process, and we look forward to seeing what they go on to accomplish next! Thank you to Zuzanna and Daniel for spending your winter vacation with us.
